This page is to provide information about the Newport Jazz Age Weekend “Day Tickets”.  The link above will take you to the Eventbrite ticket website. The theme for this year’s event is “Back to School: Collegiate Traditions of Days Gone By!”.  A 1920’s to 50’s outfit is suggested but not required for this event.  We will be starting the day taking a tour of Belcourt Mansion just down the road. Then we head back to Founder Hall for a Homecoming Lawn Party Picnic with the Stevedore Stompers!  A detailed list of activities can be found on the Newport schedule page.

There are 3 ticket options for 2025.  The full admission price of $75 per person gives you access to all of Saturday’s events.  This includes the Belcourt Mansion Tour at 10:30am, the Homecoming Picnic Lawn Party at 12:30, and the Ice Cream Social after party at 8:30pm.  The after party will have free ice cream and a selection of cocktails on the house!  The second ticket option ($50) is for Belcourt plus the Lawn Party, and the third option ($30) is for just the Lawn Party itself.  During the Lawn Party, we will have live jazz by the Stevedore Stompers of Connecticut 2-5pm.  There is a huge wrap-around porch where the band will be playing and plenty of room for dancing.  And don’t worry, we will also have a beginners dance lesson to help get you started!  All ages are welcome for the Lawn Party and Belcourt Mansion portion of the event, but 21+ only for the after party.  A group of us are also meeting up for dinner at the Ocean Cliff Safari Room restuarant on Saturday night. If you would like to get on the dinner reservation or have questions about attending other portions of the weekend, please send and email to gbvintagesociety@gmail.com.  Tickets are non-refundable but you can sell your tickets to another person.  Just let GBVS know who you plan to sell to so we can change the name.  Be aware there can be a lot of scammers on Facebook and otherwise trying to sell tickets that don’t exist.
