2025 Schedule

Event Theme: “Back to School: Collegiate Traditions of Days Gone By!”

Friday, June 20th

6-8pm:                 Arrival and Check-In (Ochre Lodge – 234 Ruggles Ave. Newport)

8-11pm:              Co-ed Welcome Party in Ochre Lodge!  (Games, billiards, maybe a late night trip to Cliff Walk..?)

Saturday, June 21st

8:30-10am:          Continental breakfast served in kitchen area (weekend guests only)

10 – 11:30am:     Visit to Belcourt Mansion at 657 Bellevue Ave.  (Day Guests meet up here.)

12 – 5pm:       Homecoming Picnic and Games on the Founders Hall Lawn!  (218 Ruggles Ave. Newport)

1-2pm:                 Swing Dance Lesson on Founders Veranda.

2 -5pm:                Live Music by the “Stevedore Stompers”!

4pm:                    Group picture on the lawn

6-8pm:                Dinner at the Ocean Cliff Safari Room Restaurant at 65 Ridge Rd.  (Reservations Required: email gbvintagesociety@gmail.com)

8:30-Midnight:   Ice Cream Social in Founders Hall!  (Ice cream and cocktails provided!)

Sunday, June 22nd 

8:30-10am:      Continental breakfast served in kitchen area (Checkout for weekend guests at Founders Hall)

11-11:30am:     Depart for Rose Island Lighthouse.   (Park at Fort Adams State Park and take ferry there.)

12-3:30pm:       Vintage Beach Party at Rose Island!  (Bring your blankets, vintage bathing suit, etc)

3:30pm:           Catch the ferry back to the modern world.

4:00pm:            Depart Newport, have a safe drive home!
