1935 Open House at the Mary Baker Eddy Library! October 12th, Columbus Day!

Come celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Mary Baker Eddy Library with a re-creation of the 1935 Grand Opening of the Mapparium! The Mapparium is an amazing experience where you can step inside an illuminated 3D representation of the earth! GBVS is providing an exhibit at this event which is part of the Fenway Cultural District’s “Open Our Doors” program. The day includes: 1930’s cars, vintage dance performances by Boston Lindy Bomb Squad, a 1935 scavenger hunt, an actor portrayal of the Library’s 1935 architect, and free catered hors d’oeuvres reception for the first 60 guests that register! The open house itself does not require registration and everything is FREE!!!
