Come one come all for another exciting adventure in Newport! Tickets for the weekend package will go on sale Friday March 22nd at 6pm. (Instructions will be posted in a following update) There are some great new activities for this year’s event, plus we are pleased to announce that we have booked the Beantown Swing Orchestra for the Black-Tie Ball! This spectacular band is looking forward to bringing us the big band hits of the 1930’s and 40’s. Stay tuned to the website for further details. Hope you can make it this year!

Thanks to everyone who made the 2018 Winter Formal a smashing success! The Stevens Estate was the perfect backdrop for the event. Huge thanks to the Stevens staff, the Wolverine Jazz Band, New England Vintage Arts Society, and our GBVS vendors and volunteers. Post your pictures on our Facebook group. It was such a great night that we have decided to make it the venue for next year’s 2020 Roaring Twenties New Year’s Party! Info to come soon. This will be the most spectacular event to celebrate the birth of the 21st century Roaring 20’s!
For those new GBVS members that have joined, we will be posting our 2019 calendar by the end of December. GBVS events are over for this year, but we will be back starting January with winter social activities, the “White Lightning Ball”, the not to be missed “Newport Art Deco Weekend” and more!

Come aboard for the Gatsby on the Isles, a 1920s bash on the high seas, featuring live music by the Wolverine Jazz Band, lawn games, and a picnic on the Isles of Shoals.
